Every autumn songbirds and other birds begin their migration to the south. It is a long and perilous journey fraught with danger and fatigue. Thank heavens for lobster boats (and lobstermen), where a tired bird can take a break!
We feature here a small selection of photos contributed by lobstermen, showing various fall visitors to their boats. It is worth noting that seagulls do not migrate. But they can be just plain silly, as the photos below illustrate.
